DJ Tutu (AKA DJ Sicwitit). Soundwaves Secret Weapon

DJ Tutu (AKA DJ Sicwitit) is the new addition to the Soundwaves family. He is by far one of the must energetic and creative DJ's around. He is a second generation DJ (Son Of DJ Big Rob Martinez) and he totally lives up to his reputation.

Born and raised in the boogie down Bronx, Tutu comes from a background of DJs. His father was the first one to introduce him to the world of DJing. His uncles also passed some of thier knowledge on. It was the family who introduced him to the art of mixing, blending and scratching. Tutu held a four year residency at the lengendary Sidestreet Club in the Bronx. Tutu has also played in various clubs such as Pearl in White Plains, Club Arena, Club Hollywood in New Rochelle, The Velvet Lounge in Hollywood Florida, MARS 2112, Crane Club, and CROBAR NYC just to name a few. 

Tutu has also opened up for some of New Yorks hottest DJ including DJ BIG BEN of the HEAVY HITTERS, DJ CYPHER SOUNDS of HOT97, and DJ SPINBAD of Z100/105.1FM. I have to say Tutu is not your ordinary DJ. He can hang with the big doggs one night, spin for tennagers at a school dance, and go straight to the more sofisticated adult crowd. He is by far one of the most versitile DJ period. Tutu believes that the best thing about being a DJ, is capturing the vibe of the moment with your music and the crowd. "I get a rush everytime I get the people stomping on the dance floor to the sounds of the beat". It does not get any better than this.

Tutu is quickly getting the attention of New York City's promoters. He currently holds a residency at The City Lounge formerly known as Zen Tango's at the Radisson in New Rochelle, NY on Saturday nights.  He is available by request to spin at your Wedding or Sweet 16 event.
